Description

Soudaseal 260CC is a high-quality, neutral, elastic, 1-component adhesive sealant based on MS-Polymer. It is engineered for high-performance structural bonding applications in demanding environments.

APPLICATIONS

• Elastic structural bonding applications requiring a tough and rigid bond
• Structural bonding in vibrating constructions
• Elastic structural bonding in automotive applications: buses, trains, trucks, caravans, ship-building
• Joints between metal plates

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Paintable with most water-based paints; compatibility testing is strongly recommended
• Drying time of alkyd resin-based paints may increase
• Once fully cured, it can be coated with water-based industrial paints or powder coating and dried up to 30 minutes at 200°C
• Suitable for many substrates; test on plastics such as polycarbonate due to variability by manufacturer
• Not to be used as a glazing sealant
• Can be used for bonding natural stone (only on the bottom of tiles), not as a joint sealant
• Avoid spilling sealant on the surface of materials during application
• Good UV resistance, but discoloration may occur under extreme or prolonged UV exposure

SHELF LIFE

12 months in unopened packaging. Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C
