Description

Soudafoam FR HY Gun is a one-component, self-expanding, ready-to-use fire-retardant polyurethane foam where the canister is provided with a thread so it can be used on a gun. It meets EN 1366-4 fire standards and features a Duravalve for consistent performance throughout its shelf life, even when stored lying down.

• Fire resistant in a joint (EN 1366-4) for up to 240 minutes
• High filling capacity
• Good adhesion on most surfaces (except PE, PP, and PTFE)
• High thermal and acoustic insulation value
• Very good bonding properties
• Duravalve ensures optimal yield over shelf life
• Not UV-resistant

• Installation of fireproof doors and windows
• Sealing of fire-retardant joints in walls and ceilings
• Part of the ‘Soudal Fire Range’ for penetration seals and joints
• Sealing of openings in roof constructions
• Application of acoustic baffles
• All foam applications in static joints

Shelf life:

15 months when unopened and stored upright in cool, dry conditions (5°C to 25°C)

Notes

Moisten surfaces with a water sprayer before application. Repeat after each layer if working in multiple passes. Adhesion test recommended on non-standard surfaces
