Description

Soudafoam FR HY is a one-component, self-expanding, ready-to-use PU foam with fire-retardant characteristics. It is formulated with HCFC- and CFC-free propellants, making it safe for the ozone layer and compliant with EN 1366-4 fire standards.

Features

• Fire resistant in a joint (EN 1366-4) for up to 240 minutes
• High filling capacity
• Good adhesion on all surfaces (except PE, PP, and PTFE)
• High thermal and acoustic insulation value
• Very good bonding properties
• Water resistant (not watertight)
• Not UV-resistant

Applications

• Installation of fireproof doors and windows
• Sealing of fire-retardant joints in walls and ceilings
• Part of the ‘Soudal Fire Range’ for penetration seals and joints
• Sealing of all openings in roof constructions
• Application of acoustic baffles
• All foam applications in static joints

Shelf life:

15 months when unopened and stored upright in cool, dry conditions (between 5°C and 25°C)
