Description

Soudal Pool Fix is a high-quality, crystal clear, 1-component adhesive based on SMX Polymer. Ideal for quick and strong bonding in swimming pool areas, it delivers excellent adhesion on many surfaces—even slightly moist ones.

• Very easy to apply
• Excellent adhesion on nearly all surfaces, even if slightly moist
• Crystal clear formulation
• Impervious to mould (contains ZnP, a biocide with fungicidal action)
• Good extrudability even at low temperatures
• Free of isocyanates, solvents, halogens, and acids
• Permanently elastic after curing
• Can be painted with all water-based paints and many other systems (testing recommended)

APPLICATIONS

• Repairing mosaic and tiles
• Repairing damage in concrete stairs
• Bonding and sealing of swimming pool components (e.g., skimmer, spot, valves, drain)
• Temporary repair of small leakages
• Repairing and reinforcing damaged surfaces in metal and polyester

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Not suitable for bonding aquariums
• Paintable with water-based paints; compatibility testing is recommended
• Suitable for a wide variety of substrates; compatibility testing recommended for plastics (e.g., polycarbonate)
• Not suitable for expansion joints
• Not to be used as a glazing sealant
• Not suitable for natural stone
• Good UV resistance, but discoloration may occur under extreme or prolonged exposure
• Lack of UV exposure can also cause color change
• Discoloration does not affect technical performance
• Avoid contact with bitumen, tar, EPDM, neoprene, butyl, and other plasticizer-releasing materials
• When using different reactive joint sealants, ensure the first one is fully cured before applying another

SHELF LIFE

15 months in unopened packaging. Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C
