Description

Duct Sealant is a tough and flexible sealant designed to prevent air leakage in low, medium, and high velocity ducting systems. It is suitable for a wide range of HVAC applications and ensures airtight and reliable sealing in ductwork joints.

APPLICATIONS

• Suitable for all types of HVAC duct systems including sheet metal ducts, duct board, and flexible ducts
• Sealing of seam, spigot, and flange joints in metal fabrications
• Ideal for joints with movements up to 15%

NOTES

• Do not use in applications with continuous water immersion
• Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent
• Can be painted over with most paints; paint should be sufficiently elastic
• Preliminary compatibility test with paint is recommended
• Allow 12–24 hours drying time before pressure testing depending on temperature, humidity, and application thickness
• Not suitable for outdoor application
