Storage Conditions:

To maintain product integrity, adhere to the following storage guidelines:

  • Store away from direct sunlight, flames, sparks, and heating.
  • Flash Point: >25°C
  • Density: 1.4 Kg/L

Application Guidelines:

Achieve optimal results by following these application recommendations:

  • Layer Thickness: Aim for a recommended coating thickness of 160-200 microns per coat.
  • Pot Life (at 25°C): Approximately 40-45 minutes
  • Curing Time (at 25°C): Tack-free time: 12 hours; Re-coatable: 12-24 hours; Light traffic: 3 days; Full cure: 7 days

Consumption Rates:

  • Roller coating: Approximately 0.25–0.3 kg/m²
  • Self-smoothing wearing course or finish locking coats on textured finishes: Approximately 0.9–1.2 kg/m²
  • Alka Primer: 5–6 sqm/litre
  • First Coat: 5–6 sqm/litre over unprimed surfaces; 6–8 sqm/litre over primed or coated surfaces
  • Second Coat: 6–8 sqm/litre over troweled-on toppings; 2–4 sqm/litre over textured finishes

Application Instructions:

Apply Alka 112 using a brush or roller, selecting the appropriate tool based on the desired finish.

Equipment Cleaning:

Ensure proper cleaning of equipment:

  • Use xylene before the mixed compound begins to harden.
  • Once cured, mechanical removal is necessary.
