Elite Terracotta Primer is a water-based, solvent-free primer specifically developed with superior adhesion-enhancing properties for raw uncoated, glazed or vitrified terracotta roof tiles. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Nutech range of exterior durable roof coating products.

This primer is ideal for both vertical and horizontal surfaces, achieving excellent adhesion without the need for etching solutions. Its advanced formulation is precisely engineered to meet the challenges of terracotta surfaces, creating a strong and stable base for long-term coating performance.

Important Notes

• Not suitable for powdery or oxidised surfaces (use NuPrime instead)
• Not suitable for areas with rising damp or negative hydrostatic pressure
• This product is not a clear top coat

• Appearance: Milky white viscous liquid
• Coverage: Smooth, non-porous surfaces: 12m²/L, Raw/porous/rough surfaces: approx. 5m²/L. To maximise performance, do not over spread.

Recommended Substrates

Surfaces where absorbing primers are not suitable or where adhesion enhancement is a required for
roof coatings such as Raw uncoated terracotta roof tiles, Glazed and vitrified terracotta roof tiles, Glazed tiles and natural stone surfaces.
