Nutech NuCourt Fill Coat – High Build Sports Surface Leveling Sealer

Nutech NuCourt Fill Coat is a high-solids, water-based acrylic build coat designed specifically for levelling surface inconsistencies less than 20mm deep on asphalt and concrete hard sports surfaces. Applied prior to finishing with NuCourt Pro Coat or NuCourt Roll Coat, it creates a smooth, level foundation that eliminates low spots and prevents water ponding on tennis, basketball, and netball courts.

Formulated for all-weather durability on both interior and exterior substrates, NuCourt Fill Coat is low VOC (<2%), easy to apply using a squeegee or broom, and contains built-in resistance to bacteria and mould to preserve court integrity.

Key Attributes & Application Benefits

  • Precision Surface Leveling: Fills surface depressions, voids, and roughness up to 20mm deep.
  • Low VOC & Low Odour: Contains less than 2% volatiles, making it safe for indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
  • Bacteria & Mould Resistance: Guards court substrates against microbial growth underneath topcoats.
  • Flexible Application Options: Easily spread using a 70 Durometer rubber squeegee or two-broom method.
  • System Compatibility: Provides maximum adhesion and coverage for NuCourt finishing topcoats.

Colour accuracy disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

What depth of surface damage can NuCourt Fill Coat repair?

NuCourt Fill Coat is formulated for surface inconsistencies and low spots less than 20mm in depth. Any cracks or holes deeper than 20mm must be patch-repaired using a suitable structural concrete or asphalt filler before applying Fill Coat

How is NuCourt Fill Coat applied to the surface?

It is applied using a 70 Durometer flexible rubber squeegee or a two-broom technique (spreading with a stiff bristle broom and finishing smooth with a soft bristle broom). Do not apply using standard paint rollers.

Does concrete need a primer before applying NuCourt Fill Coat?

Yes. Concrete must be cured for at least 28 days, etched with Nu-EcoSafe Concrete Etch, and saturated with one coat of Nu-Prime prior to applying Fill Coat. For asphalt, ensure the surface is degreased, pressure-washed (>2500 psi), and completely dry.

How long does NuCourt Fill Coat take to dry before applying topcoats?

It is touch dry in 4 hours and ready for recoating or topcoating between 8 and 24 hours at 25°C. Once dry, inspect the floor and scrape or grind off any excess ridges or lumps before applying your NuCourt topcoat.
