NuPool Chlorinated Rubber Pool Paint: Introducing NuPool Chlorinated Rubber, a single-pack solvent-based system offering excellent resistance to oils, salts, fats, and grease. Specifically designed for chlorinated rubber coated surfaces, it provides performance akin to traditional 2-pack systems, making it an ideal choice for pool repainting.

Application Guide:

Preparation:

• Ensure surfaces are clean and in good condition.
• Drain the pool, remove residual water, and thoroughly dry the surface.
• Eliminate oil, dirt, grease, flaking paint, and contamination.
• Repair non-structural cracks and chips with a suitable filler.
• For structural cracks, seek professional assistance.
• Degrease using Nu-Eco Degreaser and high-pressure clean (min. 3000psi).
• Etch the surface with Nu-EcoSafe Etch (Mix 1-part to 5 parts water) and high-pressure clean.
• Allow the surface to thoroughly dry.

Application:

• Brush/Roller 1st Coat: No thinning required. Observe recoat times.
• Brush/Roller 2nd Coat: No thinning required. Observe dry time.
• Spray (2 coats): Thin 10% - 15% with Thinner. Observe recoat and dry times.

Curing:

• Drying times may vary in cooler conditions or high humidity.
• Touch Dry: 20 minutes.
• Recoat: 2 - 4 hours.
• Full Cure: 7 Days.
• Allow 7 days before filling the pool with water.

Note: Do not apply NuPool Chlorinated Rubber Pool Paint to existing epoxy coatings. Verify existing coating composition before starting work.
